A brief synopsis: Current biomass projects in India are facing challenging times. On one hand existing projects are facing fuel supply issues while on the other larger and bigger power projects are being setup in India. Also organized biomass supply chains are slowly taking shape in the country. With India’s large and fertile land bank, India’s biomass energy potential is significantly higher than today’s installed capacity. This conference will focus on some of the most important issues facing biomass projects and identify the future trajectory of growth in this sector.
