Gujarat Phase III Solar Policy to be announced at the Indian Solar Summit 2012, Gandhinagar on 19-20 April 2012

The worlds largest ‘multi-developer’ solar park is situated in Charanka, in Northern Gujarat and will be officially inaugurated by Gujarat Chief Minister, Sri Narendra Modi on 19th April 2012.

As part of the Indian Solar Summit 2012, the 200MW power development and manufacturing facility, which has capacity for a further 300MW, will be visited by conference attendees, national and international media, Government officials and VIP’s, to celebrate this illustrious achievement and to demonstrate how far Indian solar has come in such a short space of time.

The development also has 300MW still to be commissioned…so developers and manufacturers are encouraged to visit the Solar Park now and understand how they can share in this illustrious development.
